"Space" made the concepts of honor and patriotism fashionable again. It was not often a pretty story, but then war is not pretty. And perhaps that's the greatest point the series made. War is a thing to be avoided at all costs, but if it becomes necessary, you step up and defend your country, your world with everything you have.

Among a remarkable cast of characters, one man personified dignity, honor, loyalty and courage. He set an example for those around him with his "everyday actions." This unique and memorable role was brought to life with passion and mystery by gifted and talented actor, James Morrison.

On this fifth anniversary of the series debut, it seemed fitting to pay tribute to a character none of us will ever forget. It is therefore with gratitude, fondness and a profound respect that we dedicate the following pages to the Angriest of Angels...Lt. Col. T. C. McQueen.
